Cream Cheese Frosting

Multi-purpose cream cheese frosting that would go great with Apple Cake.

• 1 pkg. (3 ounce) cream cheese, softened
  
• 3 tablespoons butter, softened
  
• Pinch of salt
  
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  
• 1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
