5-minute Lunch: Southwestern Pita Sandwich


 
So easy, even a dog with no opposable thumbs could probably make this, as long as he could reach the counter.



So all it takes are these ingredients:
-1/2 a whole wheat pita
-1 slice of reduced fat cheddar cheese
-6-7 jalapeno slices
-1 stalk of green onion

So go get yourself half a pita.



Then add the slice of cheese.  Break it up a little bit.



Then add jalapeno peppers.



Grab a stalk of green onion from your vase ;)



Chop them, then add to the pita pocket. 



Stick it in the toaster oven and toast for about 2 minutes.



And you get this lovely thing.



It's only 200 calories for a delicious pita sandwich.  YUM.  It takes 5 minutes.  Perfect for when you're running from one thing to another and don't have time to make a proper lunch.  And who doesn't love melted cheese?
